The early TY rides have been very fortunate over the past couple years to receive snow over night to allow us to enjoy some pretty nice trail conditions each day with out having to cancel the rides. This ride was no exception to the blessing of the snow gods.

Thursday morning after a needed breakfast in Shingleton we headed north toward the Bear Trap. We were planning on hitting the Kingston Plaines area but took a wrong turn toward Seney. Trials were fairly flat and fast with some icy corners but all in all extremely nice. Gassed up in Seney and headed back to Bear Trap for some late lunch. After lunch we drove back to Muni for a few beverages and some good company in the garage at Alger Falls Motel.

Few more inches of snow on Friday made for another great day of sledding. Driving back over to Shingleton for breakfast and then once again we shot for the Plaines area and onto Grand Marais The trails turned out to be in premium conditions all the way into town. Gassed up and headed back to Muni taking the lake shore trail also in excellent condition. We had to crank it up some to get back to Muni for the kick-off of the Packer Game…LOL. Once the game ended 25 of us went to Foggys for dinner. The dinner along with a few more beverages pretty much summed up the ride.
