Rivet placement depends on gearing & rider weight. A good place to start is 2.4 rivet 1st hole & .8 in tip, probably have to go heavier. This is for weights that no rivet placement has been given below. The tips given below are only starting areas , refining may need to be done.

  Along with good clutching goes more performance and on 600sx and 700sx triples you can get more by going to a thinner head gasket (recommend running higher octane fuel in the sled). , reed spacers and boring your silencer (single pipes).

 XTC600 tuning   

         Alum. 0.8 in the inner hole. Be sure clutches are aligned and the center to center distance is correct. Also might have to play with the secondary spring hole location to tweak it just right. Clutch set up is strictly for .6mm head gasket mod., stock jetting, set fuel screws to 2 turns and make sure floats are set to 24 mm.

500 XT and 500XTC tuning 

        45/39  Helix, 8-ab weights and stock springs. 0.8g rivet in the tip and might have to change slightly to hold 77rpm.

        47/41 helix, 8-ab weights with a 0.8 gram rivet in tip & pivot empty. Gear down 1 tooth & drop mains 1/2 a size.
